Our approach to educating seniors on the financial options available by experienced attorneys provides a well-rounded review of the customer's situation. Our focus is not to sell reverse mortgages, but to determine if given all the financial options available in today's marketplace, they are the best for the stated purposes of the customer. The office is located at 841 Main Street, Tewksbury, Massachusetts. Our new office setting is complete with a handicap ramp, automatic doors and handicap accessible bathroom facilities. If travel to our office is not possible or preferred, we happily accommodate to meet wherever customers desire. Typically, we meet in customers homes. Our aim is to make the experience a positive one. Meet the Owner of Reverse Mortgage Advisors, LLC Jerry S. Congdon Due to the growing financial needs of seniors, Mr. Congdon and his partner started Reverse Mortgage Advisors, LLC to assist seniors over the age of 62 utilize the equity in their homes to pay for medical expenses, outstanding mortgages, living expenses and home improvements. The federally licensed operation provides free consultation to seniors and their families about the benefits of reverse mortgages. The attorney owned and operated company offers a comprehensive approach to reverse mortgages by including the family in decision making, preparing up to date estate plans for the smooth transition of property and servicing loan questions for clients during the duration of their reverse mortgage. In conjunction with the opening of Reverse Mortgage Advisors, LLC, Mr. Congdon joined Fitzpatrick & Associates, P.C. as a partner. Mr. Congdon focuses his practice on senior estate planning and real estate. His concentration on the preparation of estate plans, including the use of revocable trusts, irrevocable life insurance trusts and Medicaid planning has expanded into offering seminars and consultation for senior groups at local banks, senior centers and area nursing home companies. As a senior advocate, Mr. Congdon works with seniors referred through the AARP Legal Services Network on a variety of issues. Currently, Mr. Congdon is a member of the Elder Services of Merrimack Valley Advisory Council, Senior Care, Inc. Advisory Council, Blair House Advisory Council and legal volunteer at the Tewksbury Senior Center. Mr. Congdon earned his JD from the Massachusetts School of Law, an MBA from the Executive MBA program at Northeastern University and an M.ED in Counseling Psychology from The Pennsylvania State University. Mr. Congdon’s career includes employment with ValleyWorks Career Center, a joint city/state partnership of the One Stop Career Center network of the Massachusetts Division of Career Services, Deputy Director, Northern Region of the Massachusetts Department of Revenue, Child Support Enforcement Division and Executive Vice President of Wakefield Management, Inc. |
